Catavento - Cascais

Great place in the suburbs. Food and service are great. Have returned time and time again when we visit Portugal.

Good simple food, reasonable wines and prices. Excellent (and humerous waiter Robert! He will help those who do not speak Portugese (ex UK! but speaks both languages perfectly.

This is a small but great restaurant of you want to explore the typical Portuguese culinary. Only seldom will you see tourists here as the restaurant appears to be one of the preferred places of local population. It is close to Cascais. We had a great meal, helped by nice staff and a very nice owner. Not a lot of tables, so make reservations before you go. It will be busy. Try the COZIDO on Saturday, percebes every once in a while (if you are lucky), the delicious bacalhau dishes and many other traditional Portuguese dishes. Don 't be angry of you cannot get to your table at the exact time you reserved...it is worth a while.

Um restaurante muito simples mas tão bom. Comida tradicional muito bem confeccionada e sempre saborosa. Simpatia sempre em cima. Recomendo uma visita a todos.

Gostas de comer à fartanta e com prazer gustativo?<br/ Então este restaurante é para ti!<br/ <br/ Mas prepara-te tá sempre quase cheio ou seja muito baraulho, falta de privacidade e um pouco stressante para alguns.<br/ <br/ Preço do menu é 10 euros, sim é caro para alguns)...mas são 10 euros muito bem gastos porque eu como imenso 1.87 cm de altura para terem noção) e não consigo acabar o prato.<br/ <br/ A comida é mesmo muito boa, um dos melhores restaurantes de Cascais, pena não apostarem no Marketing Digital e expandarem a Marca que muitos mais deviam ter acesso a esta boa Casa.<br/ <br/ Dou um 4.5 para ser exacto...
