Cafe La Basseta - Castalla

It's a very nice place to have a drink with friends.

I have only rated as very good as I have never been here in the evenings, though I have no reason to expect it to be of a lower standard and am a frequent visitor. The Café is situated over the road from an in town park with activity area for children. The café is well presented an clean with both indoor and outdoor seating, with pleasant helpful staff who in the main can understand some English. The coffee is pleasant without being bitter or weak, I find that I do not need sugar to sweeten it. The Café has a wide range of Gin available and also promotes numerous gin cocktails. It also has a selection of the main types of Spanish Tappas to choose from. They are not open on a Monday but the rest of the week can see them busy with a large selection of English ex-pats to be found drinking there.

Excellent friendly service, great welcoming hospitality, free WIFI, overlooking Park, and Market on Market days, lovely atmosphere.
