Il Cavalluccio - CASTELSARDO

Our table was with sea view, on the balcony overlooking the rocks below. The maximum score is due to the fact that; beyond the wonderful panorama, even the food was exquisite. The chosen menu was sea, with the only exception of one of the first. Pennette (square!? with porcini mushrooms. The other one was the classic fregular with mussels and prawns. The appetizers were composed of tastings of:Ricciola, baccalà, tona and squid. The second ones were again presenting the shreds and a mixed frying. The whole thing, was accompanied by some bottles of excellent berchidda vermentino (if I don't remember bad) The staff of the room was absolutely professional, allowing all our requests and curiosities. Congratulations to the chefs, and to all the rest of the brigade staff. I will definitely return for a dinner at sunset, to try the other dishes that offer the kitchen.

Beautiful view from the terrace but especially great food: mix of appetizers to say little exceptional as well as all the other dishes. do not have a menu and therefore we had no idea of prices fearing a fucilata instead normal/high price but in line with the quality of food and service.

We stayed at dinner here, it is an elegant restaurant, the staff very prepared and professional, attentive to the details such as filling the bread basket, changing the ashtray, and at the end of the meal a hot towel for the hands, in the background jazz music. The food is treated in detail, it only treats fresh fish so the menu changes depending on the fish. We managed to eat fresh shrimp and scampi, delicious, more unique than rare. The waiters always wear the mask. The only thing I personally do not appreciate is not being able to see the menu with prices, the menu reads you the waiter.
