Cafe Alise - CASTIGLIONE DEL LAGO

We were made so welcome in this friendly station cafe, I only wish we had found it sooner rather than the day before we leave. The gelato was amazing the absolute best! Great choice and some unusual ones too. Next time we return to the area it will be our first stop. Would recommend to anyone Grazie Mille

Sergio and Daniella's cafe is a must visit if you are within 100 miles of Lake Trasimeno. Don't get me wrong everything in the cafe is wonderful. Coffee, teas, pastries and spritz are all excellent quality. But the gelato is divine and the flavour combinations are outstanding. Don't miss out.

The service is excellent and imaginative. The ice-creams are superlative, the cakes and sandwiches very special. Tables outside and inside can accommodate small meetings or a simple tête-à-tête. The owners Daniela and Sergio are very welcoming: Alisè is a regular meeting place for friends. They are opposite the train station and sell train tickets.

After a hot day we had an ice cup in the café alise. the chef was very friendly, explained all kinds of eggs and let us try some of them. that's rare.

Conveniently located opposite the railway station, this is an excellent location for coffee. Run by the attentative owner and his wife.
