Port City Java Cape Fear Community College North

I'm not a huge coffee lover, but with early classes and a half-hour commute, I'm relying on Port City Java. The staff is friendly, and the coffee is excellent.

Today, I inquired with the establishment about when they would switch to their fall hours, and I was thrilled to learn that they had made the change. I was really looking forward to enjoying a hot coffee before class. However, when I arrived at 5:30 today, I was deeply disappointed. I'm seriously considering finding another place to stop for coffee on my way to class from now on.

The staff here is outstanding! The manager, Rita, is exceptional and exemplifies what a manager should be. She works hard, maintains professionalism, and sets a great example for her team. Whenever I’m downtown, I make a point to go the extra distance to visit this coffee shop.

The selection is at least short for me for the afternoon, but the people there are nice

Clean area, amazing aroma from coffee lofts through hallways. Only wishing it were price competitive. Students from 14 and up in age struggle on daily basis to make ends meet and a cup of joe should not run more than a buck. Snack prices are high as well. Can not forsee using these establishments long term due to price gouging. Please offer better student loyalty discounts on campus and discounted gift cards to encourage students to frequent more.
