Írjon visszajelzéstWe loved this cafe having been there today for lunch. The waiters and waitresses are so friendly and accommodating. The food was great but be aware that if you ask for chilli it will be quite spicy for the pasta.
Great macarons and dessert selections; but wow the staff are new to hospitality. You don't expect this kind of behaviour in the hills.1. The cashier kept telling us that they were closed and then kept saying he was joking. Not funny when overdone.2. The person taking our order had an attitude problem. She didn't want to be there. Maybe it has something to do with changes to the NSW award system3. No sugar was mixed in the coffees. So much wasted potential!Great for macarons though! Take away would be ideal!
I held off writing a review as my first time was when they had just opened. First impressions were that this was something different and possibly just what this area needed. Nice looking brightly lit and good looking space. Table configuration all wrong and lots of untrained staff not sure and no direction. Once again, only newly opened. Fast forward to 5 visit later and not much has changed. Today was 3 adults and all we wanted was a snack and quick tea and maybe coffee. Order was 2 x green tea and milkshake with fruit toast and "lobster taco". The 2 teas came out very quickly but 2 different servings of pots and cups/glasses. Then fruit toast was a massive portion. Not bad but something supermarkets would sell. Then came a warm milkshake served in a small plastic kids portion cup. No ice cream or texture. Imagine a Big M or Oak milk with chocolate syrup around the inside to look homemade. Right, then the Tacos. Pretty sure it was scampi or yabbie meat, not seasoned! This was swerved in hand cut ( with straight edges I might add) with mayo, chopped tomatoes and pickled jalapeño from a jar. It was 50% rocket to fill it up. Not enjoyable at all. It was 2pm and maybe 12 people to serve. Minor issue but manager or owner or whatever sitting at counter on laptop working and yelled at 2 staff to get us seated. Very strange. All in all it looks like the focus is the massive cake display that looks great and NOT those who want to sit down inside the venue. Please do better!
A delightful little cafe tucked away in Castle Towers. It's great for a small catch up with a friend or a little time out for yourself. The coffee and scone I ordered were delicious, and will return to try other menu items another time.
A world of edible luxury indeed. A delightful place to come if you want to feel that little bit special having a coffee or tea with someone special or friends/family. The decor is lovely and they have a good selection of high teas that you can choose from. I have seen these popping up everywhere now and this was the first time visiting the Castle Hill cafe. They get busy so you might have to wait for a table. It was hard to choose from so many cakes and deserts but don't miss out on the red velvet cake which was a delicious treat!
