Smashburger - Castle Rock

I think this is a fake SmashBurger. A real SmashBurger would not put Mayo and tomatoes on my Colorado Burger after I asked for no Mayo or tomatoes. And even if they did, they wouldn't fix it by removing the tomato and lobes of a new bungalow on the Mayo covered patties. And a real SmashBurger wouldn't give me a mostly empty cup of pommes and call it? (See picture) I very disappointed to learn that this is a real place of my favorite Burger counterpart. I asked for a refund and went instead to CAVA, but I can't get the time I returned.

Somehow, a grilled chicken sandwich still managed to be greasy. Tater tots were a better dietary choice than sweet potato fries (check the website for nutritional information), Chicken tenders were too breading-y, but still tasted ok. Decent food, reasonable service.

Didn 't even get to try the food because an entire hour before they were scheduled to close, some kid with glasses tells us we can 't make your food tonight, I just don 't think we have the staff for it meanwhile there is nobody else in the restaurant, and it 's 4 people working. If the workers don 't want to work, at least put a closed sign. What a great first experience.

Filthy! Only 1 other customer In the place and there was not one clean table. We stood at the counter to order and weren't greeted for about 3 minutes because everyone was standing around. When we got our food the order was wrong. Asked for the mushrooms ordered and the cook looked confused. So disappointed we will never go back!

Never been to a Smashburger because I live out of state. They were supposed to be something special from what I heard. When we arrived, we were told there would be a 20 minute wait for our food for an unknown reason. We agreed to wait and went to the bathroom in order to wash our hands. You know, Covid thing before we ate. The first bathroom had no water or towels or hand dryer and had used towels all over the floor. The next bathroom had water but no towels or dryer. Napkins from the dining room did the trick. The burger, when it came, tasted good but was not overwhelming good for the hype, and the nearly $4 large Smash fries was small and not worth the price either. In print, the food looks amazing. In reality, no where close and the condition of the store was not clean. We were very disappointed and will not visit a Smashburger again.
