The Auld House - Castlereagh

Absolutely lovely food and even better staff. Looked after by Stephen and another young waiter. Couldn’t have done anymore to make sure we had a great evening. Had a vegetarian and a vegan in our group and they had fantastic options to please everyone, highly recommend

The food has always been great and still is, except for the sticky toffee sauce, it’s the toffee sauce you get from a squeezy bottle that you would put on ice cream definitely not the the sauce that should ever be served with a sticky toffee pudding cake, it really lets itself down in doing this. I know people may say I’m being trivial by writing this review but you’re paying for a sticky toffee pudding with toffee/caramel sauce and they give you this.

Went to the Auld House today for the first time. Friendly welcome and nice table. Quick service, food was perfect. I had fish and chips, other members of family had the turkey and ham which was lovely, plenty of fresh seasonal vegetables. Dessert was even better, I had Pavalova which came with a side of fresh fruit, other dessert ordered was sponge cake with jam and coconut and custard. The meal was lovely.

Lovely front of house staff, food was old fashioned pub food . Something I might have had in the past. Nothing that would make me want to go back to eat there again.

Went out with three friends for lunch. We each had a different meal and all four meals were dried up and tasteless. I would not recommend this place
