Martinucci Laboratory - Castro

I can't fault anything I've had at Martinucci's. Coffee, pastries (pasticciotto to die for), gelato, aperitivos. All lovely. But they have a crazy service. Sometimes you sit down and you're served relatively quickly. Sometimes you wait ages, walk inside and get told to sit down and wait to be served. Sometimes you do the same but they take your order, but it doesn't arrive and you have to reorder. But then, south of Italy... Everything tastes gorgeous though.

If you want to waste 2 hours to have a coffee, stop here. You will probably even drink it cold because it has been left on the counter for a long time before a waiter pities you and makes the effort to take it to your table

We had a couple of snacks here over a couple of days and were very impressed by the quality and value. The pannini were really good and very tasty.
