Oculto - Castro Valley

Everything was delicious. we will definitely be back in the new year.

We always love the food. That day there was a large private party a sweet but I experienced waiter we felt forgotten several times. Had to request our main about 20 minutes after finishing our small plates. Had Togo to the desk to request dessert. Had to request check. We’ll still go back

Great food and service. Nice cocktails but this time they did not have good options. Specifically Pisco Sour was not on the menu.

We love Oculto so much we’re becoming regulars! Love the chicken and papas, but everything else is always delicious — especially the desserts and cocktails. Friendly staff and comfortable seating. Yes, it’s upstairs from a market but that’s just part of the vibe. Such a great addition to Castro Valley!

Oculto was a fun experience that I would recommend. It wasn’t the greatest value, but at the same time, multiple dishes were delicious and very well executed. We tried the chicken, the papas bravas, pickles and bananas foster. Everything was really tasty.
