Írjon visszajelzéstThis was my first visit to Castroville, just 20 miles. W. of downtown San Antonio. I visited my Mom's best friends who moved there in Oct. 17. from Oregon. They are a wonderful couple who have lived in many other states and the raved about this restaraunt. We visited on Easter 2018 and I had one of the most wonderful dining experiences ever! The food was out of this world, the building filled with charm of European atmosphere the owner Gerardo was such a pleasure to meet. He made you fee like family. We were even blessed with his classic guitar playing and beautiful voice. It is located in downtown Castroville and there other historic sights to see nearby including charming historic homes. I just returned home to Dallas and had to write this review. I can't wait to return! Go as soon as you can!
We just had a wonderful dinner at the Alsatian Restaurant in the iconic little town of Castroville, TX. Our party consisted of 4 adults and 4 children (ranging in age from12 down to 3). The adults meals included Jaeger Scnitzel (crispy breaded boneless pork chops with a wonderful sauce on top), grilled salmon, Paella (Spanish rice with chicken, sausage, and seafood) and Alsatian Sausage. The kids meals included cheese pizza, sun dried tomato pizza and a pasta plate. Most of the adult meals were served with wonderful German style roasted potatoes, cabbage and sauerkraut.
