Lognina - Catania

Lovely view on the tables outside of Etna and the harbour. Our waiters were both very patient and helpful with our broken italian and offered lovely recommendations for food. We had a gorgeous five fish starter and for desert we were offered amaro desert wine which was really lovely and smokey to smell but sweet to taste. Highly recommend, if a little on the expensive side but worth it as food was all fresh.

Excellent fresh fine and sophisticated seafood , friendly service personnel special greetings for Vito and Mateo . I recommend asking for the tasting menu. You will get a great set you can't even imagine how good will be. There is one minor minus they don't have a coffee machine which is incomprehensible in Italy :

Excellent fresh fish and new, creative cuisine. Good Wine which is very important with such good food. We appreciated the way the Chef Nico and his team take care of their customers. We ate several times during our stay in Catania and were always satisfied and pleased. I never tasted such fresh and excellent fish. All the best for all the Lognina Team! Caratteristico locale situato proprio all'interno del porto turistico di ognina. pesce fresco, ottimo servizio. personale disponibile, molto gentile e professionale. Il conto? proporzionale alla sera, era la cena di Capodanno. certamente non adatto a chi vuole pagare poco. consigliato!

Una scoperta sul lungomare di catania, non avevo mai sentito parlare di questo posto. ma dovrebbe essere perché è davvero top. abbiamo pranzato molto bene, con piatti molto speciali e raffinati. - Niente di banale. Consiglio vivamente gli spaghetti LOGNINA...una delicatezza al palato, uno spettacolo agli occhus. prezzo giusto per la qualità delle materie prime e il livello di servizio. anche se aspettavamo una pelliccia troppo per il giorno che era e non confusione nella stanza... Faccio ancora di più perché ne vale la pena, e mi piace pensare che l'attesa sia giustificata da piatti freschi ed espressi consigliati!
