La Tablita - Cathedral City

This has become our favorite Mexican restaurant in town. I absolutely love the Mole, Chimichanga, and Carne Asada! The margaritas are fantastic as well! It's a lovely family-owned establishment!

I ordered pozole, but it didn't come with any fixings like cabbage or lime, which was disappointing. However, it was served piping hot, which I appreciated. My child said the kids' quesadilla was the best one they've ever had! On the other hand, the kids' French fries were seasoned in a way that my other child didn't enjoy; they had a sweet flavor.

Eating at this restaurant is a delightful experience for Mexican cuisine. I'm a bit sad that they removed the lamb pot from the menu about two years ago, as it was fantastic.

Went there last week but the owner whom is usually pleasant and welcoming was cold and distant. The food was mediocre. This place used to be very good but I think it is going down hill. Many other choices around so wont be returning for a while.
