Írjon visszajelzéstI enjoy spending my Friday evenings at this bar with my friends at least once a month. It is a popular spot in the Catskill Beach area. I particularly love their fish and chips paired with a cold beer. The outdoor seating area is fantastic, offering a view of the beach and a relaxing atmosphere. The bar is inviting and the staff is courteous and professional.
This is a beautiful environment on a stream that feeds into the hudson. we sat outside and enjoyed a tasty dinner of crumb cake served by the most friendly server of all time! the food was great, and the weather was nice. a nice evening.
I have been to Creekside many times and always enjoyed it, but this week was a completely different experience. The service was excellent as always, but they seemed to be quite busy. The clam chowder was delicious, but unfortunately, the calamari, which had always been my favorite dish there, was disappointing. It was bland, soggy, overly chewy, and overall inedible.
I called today at 15 o'clock creekside and asked if they would accept reservations. I spoke to a woman who said they only accepted reservations for groups of 8 or more and come early as there was a band at 8:00 o'clock. it happened that my 100-year-old tante visited and I wanted to take them out for a nice dinner that would not be terrible expensive, as I knew they insisted on paying. when we came to the restaurant, I parked and went my tante with her stock and kept my poor over the rutted parking all the way to the restaurant because there was no good place to leave them near the restaurant while I parked. we finally came in where an older woman, perhaps the manager, and a young waitress immediately informed us that we could not come to the almost empty restaurant. they were just rude. I said I called and what happened and they said no, they had a band. I suppose there was a party? I was not particularly polite and pulled my poor tante over the parking lot and we went to the new york restaurant. the manager was nice, but we had to wait for a table over an hour. he informed me that the manager of the creekside was in dinner. I admit that I was really trying to go and say something, but not. do not eat at creekside.
On a beautiful day, we wanted to lunch somewhere by the water. Heard about Creekside before and thought we'd try it out. We both ordered the Fish Chips and I was smitten when it arrived. Perched atop delightfully cooked fries, was a beautiful piece of fresh fish treated with care. Its partner was delicious tartar sauce, and I opted for a nice cocktail. What a delight. To date, this is by far the best Fish Chips in the county!
