Port Of Call - Catskill

In all honesty, we hadn't heard of this place when we had a mini holiday in Catskills. My husband and I found us in the Kitschy Piratebar and someone under the name Frank Guido paid for our first round, a kind of welcome to the Catskills gesture. We couldn't even see this Frank because he's just gone and gone like a fairy tale goddess. The bartender lets us know Frank treated us and he owns the Port of Call. Fascinated and wanting to thank this mysterious person, we thought that we gave him some business and made our way to the Port of Call. Frank Guido doesn't need our business, nor did he have to buy us a round to get more cartridges in his restaurant. This place has pumped! It had energy and life and all that was at 6:00 on Saturday. I can't imagine the excitement later in the evening, at this beautiful place overlooking the river. We ate at the bar, had a few beers and the best oysters, perfectly dimensioned and cheap. For us this place was a small jewel and if Frank reads this, thank you for this free round! What a way to advertise the wonderful port of Call!

Great waterfront restaurant, in the Catskill Creek. From the same owners as Mariners Harbor. Really fresh and delicious seafood as well as great steaks. Don?t be afraid to ask for a vegan option, the kitchen I made a pasta and vegetable dish for me which was delicious, although it was not on the menu. Great wine list and delicious drink specials. We had a wonderful time and look forward to going back again!

Food was great drinks were good huckleberry vodka with lemonade the atmosphere was very pleasant had a good time the surrounding with the water great to dine by will definitely be going back

Another visit another great experience! This place has definitely an awesome location!! When you?re seating outside, there?s no better view! Some boats cruising by, ducks flying and the river.. if the weather is great it?s just a perfect spot. Ah and the food? GREAT! All was fresh and tasty! Prices are not cheap but definitely not too high for the quality and the view! It is a special place! Tip: They don?t accept reservations, so would recommend not to come on busy hours as you?ll have to wait...

Amazing views, Amazing waitstaff, Out of this world seafood... Place feels just like home... All staff were the most professional I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with in the 518 area... If you haven't been here you're greatly missing out...
