Star of the show was the blonde waitress ,sorry cant remember name. As non Italian speakers I suppose we were a bit of a handfull but she was calm.,courteous, and very hasd working
For me this was the best pizza of the few days we spend in the area. Fast helpful staff, cold beer and the best thin crust. If you can get the right seats early enough you can sit here eating and drinking while watching all the performances in the square.
We loved this quiet bar right in the centre of Cattolica with views across the main piazza during the day. In the evening it’s a good spot for watching people taking their “passeggiata”. There is a good selection of beer – while most of the bars in the resort serve up German draught lager the house beer on tap (alla spina) is Menebrea – one of Italy’s oldest lager brands and they serve a good pint of it here. There is also a good selection of imported bottled beers including Belgian varieties Orval and La Chouffe. Puzzlingly they also sell bottled Tennent’s Super – I have never seen it in bottles in Southern England and I can’t imagine who is drinking it in Italy. This bar tends to be less busy than the eateries and bars centered around the crossroads with Viale Dante and during our last stay in Cattolica we alternated between this bar and nearby ennoteca for our pre lunch and dinner aperitivi. You get a generous glass of prosecco at Café Roma and loads of snacks – in the early evening this often includes an entire small pizza and all for just four euros a head. We had a whole bottle of prosecco with more snacks than we could handle for 15 euros. Staff also very chatty – head barman Walter speaks good English and can talk knowledgeably about beer, football and cycling! We don’t know what the restaurant food is like because we ate in our hotel but we can certainly recommend the pizza we tasted. Perhaps not as trendy as some of the other bars in town but don’t let the white patio chairs and 80s music put you off – it would be worth a visit for the draught beer alone.
We tried several popular restaurants in town, this was the best of all. Fresh food, big portions, very nice waitress, best greek salad. This was the only place where limoncello was served after dinner.. I really don't understand why this place has so negative ratings. I would recommend!
We had the tortellini which was awesome. The staff are friendly and the service was good. We ate here twice it was so good
