Kilmore - Cavan

Noble's 4-star hotel with modern rooms. Staff very friendly, breakfast buffet with cold dishes and a la carte for hot dishes. Hotel is located just outside Cavan. It is set back from a main road on a hill, so it is very quiet

Stayed for 2 nights, attended a wedding there the 2nd night. Cannot fault this hotel at all. Staff are so helpful,friendly and proffesional. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. Food is great quality and quantity . Will definitely be returning

Staff great but upping the price of a pint at 4 o'clock in the afternoon not good considering its over 6 euro a pint before three o'clock. Then they jack up the price to almost 7.00 a pint a pure rip off I said to the bar manager I thoughti was in temple bar he told me that the financial controller was having a panic attack re price going up by their supplier why should the customer suffer

The Hotel Kilmore has been truly a home to me and the incredible staff, a part of my family of choice. I have felt incredibly well looked after in every possible way while in a totally unexpected, extreme state of difficulty myself. The food is amazing and could not be better prepared. BTW they have refreshing Guinness Zero!! The service is stellar and so quick and efficient. Everything is truly spotless. I would recommend the Kilmore for anything from weddings which I have observed here to vacations with or without kids, to romantic dinners, and what I, as a 72 year old single woman, have needed to have for myself.
