River Valley - Cave Junction

The staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious with generous portions. The country fried steak was particularly tasty.

We stopped by for lunch (though they serve breakfast all day too) after exploring the Oregon Caves nearby. A fellow traveler who had stayed in Cave Junction recommended it. Upon entering, we received a warm welcome from the staff. The service was friendly and prompt, and the food was fantastic. I enjoyed a Reuben sandwich while my spouse had a Club sandwich, made to order without the extra slice of bread. The atmosphere was charming, reminiscent of a 1950s diner, which I found delightful. I rated it 4 stars mainly due to a couple of flies buzzing around—certainly not the restaurant's fault, but they were a bit bothersome.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The staff were attentive and very polite, ensuring everything was perfect. The food was delicious and straightforward—just how restaurants used to be before Covid. I highly recommend it, 10/10!

Took family to breakfast and it was really good! I got the chicken fried steak, home fries, eggs and toast. The food all tastes home made and high quality. The waitresses are all really nice as well. I want to try lunch, I will definitely be back, great place!
