Írjon visszajelzéstHad a lunch date with a friend and it was a first visit for both of us. She's local and suggested because it's new It's important to try to support local business so they can survive . It's a quaint cafe style with yummy looking pastries. It's quite small our table barely big enough for 2 plates and 2 glasses and could probably have touched elbows with the next table. This isn't worthy of losing a star but mentioned for people who might be uncomfortable so close. The menu is fairly limited and possibly will change with the seasons? . My friend had the burrito I didn't try it because I don't like peppers and onions, but it looked yummy! ; and, I had the French toast mine was fantastic! No syrup and it doesn't need it. Light whipped cream with fresh raspberries and blueberries! . I am quite disappointed in myself for not having taken a picture. It took some time to get our food; but, it wasn't terribly long and we were having a lovely visit anyway . We were there just over an hour so maybe 30-40 min for the food? . Price is a bit over average, except they use fresh products, which cost more and taste better . Our bill was just under $25 just water to drink And I left full and very satisfied.
First Visit: I had the Steak and Eggs, the steak was perfectly seasoned, and the eggs were some of the better eggs that I have been served at any restaurant! I had never tried polenta, however that was also delicious. Staff was excellent, and the setting was calming. I will be back!! Second Visit: Was 12/6/19 this time I tried the Croque Madame, it was delicious, my only regret was not ordering a second sandwich to go!! The service was once again impeccable, my server Amber was passionate about her job and it showed!! The ambiance was again very relaxed. I will be back again!!
****! Green eggs and ham dish was so tasteful (Pannen grilled bread with pesto, prosciutto, farm fresh eggs and arugula) and all ingredients were very fresh. The servers were friendly and the café was bright, clean and beautiful. We had cutlery (to another review), very little waiting time and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful.
In Iowa for the week of Detroit, MI and this place is fantastic! Not cheap, but I didn't expect it to be like a local business, but the food and service is definitely worth the price. If you read this, I'll try the avocado toast! The bread is amazing savory and the well maintained onions(? and lemon toes create a very well rounded plate. The plate is beautiful with every dish I saw there, sad I just tried one! Sydney is also a crazy saint! A so beautiful waitress and worked with everything my colleagues and I demanded, and she keeps a big conversation: Will definitely visit again when I come back to Iowa in the future!
Finally!!! A fantastic spot for delicious breakfast, brunch, and lunch in downtown! This is something I've been wishing for years! The atmosphere is beautiful, and the staff is incredibly friendly. They offer wonderful fresh juices and amazing food. The pig bell was excellent, and the eggs and steak were outstanding! Now I just wish they were open for dinner! I will definitely be returning. I'm so glad Cedar Falls finally has a unique destination for breakfast, brunch, and lunch!
