You definitely won't leave hungry after a visit here. At first, I expected the typical all-day weak, farm-style coffee when it arrived in what looked like an old cup from someone’s grandmother's collection. To my surprise, it was actually good and strong. Don’t miss out on trying the chicken-fried bacon; I loved it, although my wife was undecided. It comes with cream gravy, which was even better than the bacon itself. The corned beef hash was tasty too, but next time I think I’ll go for the chicken-fried steak or one of the giant omelets.

This diner offers a fantastic breakfast and lunch experience, making it one of the rare traditional diners in the North Austin area. Many places have turned into assembly-line style eateries, so it's refreshing to have a sit-down diner still around. It's no wonder that it's always bustling with customers. The service is friendly and has a nostalgic charm that feels like a throwback to earlier times.

The comfort food here is fantastic! The bomb pop cheesecake was a perfect finish to our 28th wedding anniversary breakfast. Our waitress was wonderful and incredibly dedicated. We will definitely return!

Food and service was fine. However the chicken fried chicken and brown gravy gave me food poisoning. Questioning the cleanliness and food safety practices of this restaurant.
