One of my favorite restaurants. Pizza rolls are top notches and their dessert pizza is too good. I've always been a customer here for years and it's just a great place for pizza all around.
When in the sign says Dave's buffet. There is no buffet, but there is still a buffet with salad. So we order two sandwiches. I ordered a meatball had no sauce on it went up and asked for sauce on the side, he pulled it all the fridge hands it didn't even warm it up to my husband. It's high noon and there's only another customer in the store, workers are just standing around. Absolutely 150% Unsatisfied will never use foot in another double Dave?s, which use some cold sauce for a warm sandwich so sad to be a great place. This is one in the cedar park. I don't understand, no buffet for pizza, but one for salad
I placed an online order at 6:00 PM and set the delivery time for 7:15 PM. However, by 7:45 PM, my order still hadn't arrived. I called the restaurant to check on the status of my order and was informed that there were two other orders ahead of mine, with an estimated delivery time of another 30 to 45 minutes—meaning I could expect my meal between 8:15 and 8:30 PM. When I asked about the reason for the delay, I was told they only had one driver and were short-staffed. On a Friday night, having just one driver and being under-staffed? Seriously? There were no apologies or efforts to expedite my order, nor any offers to provide credits for the inconvenience. Where is the management at this location? The customer service was disappointing! Let's see if they manage to deliver my order by 8:30 PM.
As for the wings, I didn’t get 16 whole wings; I received 16 wing pieces. Out of those, four were drumsticks and twelve were wingettes (the mid-sections). It felt like they were saving the better parts of the wings just like they did with the pizza toppings. If I had checked the boxes before leaving, I definitely would have refused the order. Another thing that bothered me was that the guy at the register, who also went back to help with food, didn’t wash his hands at the front sink. Double Dave’s used to be my favorite spot, and I’ve always ordered from there, but after this experience, I might reconsider. I shouldn’t have tipped.
