I haven’t had anything on there menu that I didn’t love. Hand rolls are tasty, we get the Epi3 which is delicious . We try different rolls so it’s hard to choose our fav. It depends on mood. House salad is always great starter. The only down side is the wait time during the weekends for dinner. (It only means it’s that good) But it’s worth the wait.
Food was pretty good. The interior looks fantastic. Sea urchin was over $30 market price! But it was delicious. Salmon handroll was good. The other rolls we order was decent.
Fudo is a good sushi restaurant. I went for dinner with my husband and upon entering the restaurant you could tell that it is well liked/loved by many. Many people were inside dining and enjoying their meal. It is pretty dark in the restaurant which made it difficult to look at the menu, like my husband. However, we used my phone's flashlight to help us look at the menu. The small plates/appetizers were great. Loved how we could order pickled vegetables to snack on. The crispy brussel sprouts were hot, fresh, and covered in a delicious sauce. Great starters for us. We ordered 3 rolls to share and out of the 3 we really only liked one roll. That roll was the Sunshine roll. It felt like a complete dish compared to the other two rolls we ordered. Would still come back and try more rolls again in the future.
The best thing about this place are the water boys. They literally refilled my water after every few sips. That is impressive. The jalapeño small plate wasn’t spicy at all. The hot nights was recommended to me but I don’t like raw sushi and I stated that but the waitress insisted that it was good. It was not. I was turned off from any food at that point. The drinks were ok. Probably won’t be back. Follow my Instagram for more places I’ve visited!
Visited Fudo for the first time. Everything from the food to the service was great. For the drinks, I tried the Little Tokyo and King of Hearts they were both perfectly balanced. The King of Hearts reminds me of a mule. For the food, I had soft shell crab tempura and shrimp tempura, as well as the smoky salmon sushi roll. For dessert, I had the earl Grey creme brulee. It was very good. Great texture and not overly sweet. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely visit again.
