Craving authentic dim sum for Sunday brunch? No need to travel to Hong Kong. There is a Chinatown in Atlanta who knew? and it offers a great sampling of fresh (meaning live! fish, and all the rest... Try shrimp dim sum, shrimp in flat rice noodle, my kids can't get enough! No need to limit yourself to dim sum, though.. The garlic eggplant and steamed sea bass are favorites. But there is so much more... See their new and colorful menu. Oh, by the way, this place is open every day, Thanksgiving and Christmas included.
I'd heard great things, but the experience could have been better. Got there for a late lunch on Saturday, after the crowds, and the dim sum carts were just sitting around, so when we chose ours, they were all cold. The dish we ordered from the kitchen was hot and pretty good. My advice is if you want dim sum, go when they're busy. Service was ok.
Best dimsum ever! This place is soul food for the Asian soul. Whenever we get homesick, we head over to Oriental Pearl and make ourselves comfortable. We love the siomai, congee, chicken feet, ma chang, and sesame seed balls, just to start. The place just feels like home. Parking is somewhat limited, so either get there early or a little later.
I have been her many times and I'm always impressed. Today was the first time we were able to go for the Dim Sum and it was amazing. 10/10 I always discover something new and tasty. The tofu skins stuffed with what I think was a shrimp paste were amazing. They also have things for a less adventurous eater but very authentic and very delicious
