Serranos Mexican Food Restaurants

On Saturday, we stopped by for a late lunch or early dinner, and it was a good thing we did! The restaurant quickly filled up, and by the time we left, there were around 20 people waiting outside for a table. What a gem this place is! The food is fantastic and incredibly fresh. They also have a full bar if you're in the mood for a cocktail. You definitely need to eat here! The atmosphere is vibrant and colorful. I ordered the fajitas and got a combo plate, and everything was delicious. It's a great neighborhood Mexican restaurant!

This restaurant feels like a staple in the area, serving authentic Mexican cuisine. The different salsas are outstanding, and the chicken enchiladas are really delicious. I also enjoyed the deep-fried tacos. It's definitely worth a visit, especially if they have a banqueting table available. The service is excellent, and the location is right in the heart of downtown Chandler, next to the city hall. Highly recommended! A.A.

I can appreciate the personal challenges that can affect service, whether it’s due to staffing issues or people simply not wanting to work, but waiting two hours for a table during lunch is definitely excessive. Our waitress was very friendly, but her service was quite slow. Even though she seemed to love cilantro, which we do not, it was sprinkled on almost every dish we ordered, including one that we specifically asked to be made without it. The highlight of the meal was the bean dip served with chips before our food arrived. However, the salsa was disappointing, with large chunks of unappetizing ingredients and an overwhelming amount of cilantro. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we cannot recommend this place and won't be coming back.

Ve's been here for a few years and tonight I had the best server I've ever had. his name is raul and he was amazing. drinks were always filled before empty, he would come by and make sure that the dinge go well and not push like some server. Of course, it's always good to eat or I wouldn't go back. everyone is always polite and professional. Many thanks and we will always ask for raul as our server in the future. fyi, he deserves an increase in salary as they don't want to lose him.

First visit in two years. Although Serrano's is always a favorite, we hadn't been eating out as often while covid was more prevalent. The menu had changed and prices were higher. We didn't see anyone familiar on staff. Service was excellent. The food was still very good, but nothing was quite the same as we remembered. We will be back again though.
