Tokyo House - Chandler

Ordered a shrimp tempura roll and several items via uber eats. The shrimp was raw! The chicken is boiled in the yakisoba. Don’t know why you would have a buy one get one free promotion with terrible items. The orange chicken was pretty decent but food prepared improperly is a dealbreakerFood: 1/5

Been coming here for over 20 years. Moved out of state and would ALWAYS make a pilgrimage to this place for some delicious nostalgia when I visit Az. Sad to say yesterday was my last time. It breaks my heart to confirm what most these other reviews are saying, the food has changed and it isn't for the better. The teriyaki chicken bowl was bland/lacking sauce and the little chicken pieces are weird. The chicken fried rice had huge chunks of chicken that take away from the fried rice flavor. It's almost like the chicken was switched between the two dishes (teriyaki bowl and fried rice). Egg rolls were fine but smaller. It breaks my heart cause I really loved this place.

Came here randomly for lunch and had the orange chicken and it was surprisingly good, great place to grab a quick bite. Staff was pretty friendly too

This replaced Kyoto as my go to for teriyaki chicken years ago. First time I've had it in a while, and it's not the same. It's obviously no longer grilled. Zero char that you'd expect on properly cooked teriyaki. Rice was sopping wet with sauce. This seriously makes me sad. It's like your mom changing a recipe she's used your entire life. What happened? Unless they start cooking it the way they did before, I won't be ordering again.

Every time I come to Tokyo House the food seems to get better and better! I love the orange chicken, house fried rice, all the sushi, and egg rolls… but everything I’ve tried has been pretty impressive especially considering that they are not expensive (they charge less than most restaurants nearby). They changed ownership and I’ve noticed how much they care about customer service and feedback, everyone engages with me and everyone else that comes through like a friend… the energy is good whenever I come in, employees seem happy and service is on point! Definitely one of my favorite hidden gems!! I recommend to all my friends and family!
