Seashore - Channel-Port aux Basques

We were visiting Port Aux Basques and asked the local people where to have a nice lunch. Their answer was The Seafood Reataurant in Margaree a 7 km drive from Port Aux Basques. Absolutely delicious! Very enjoyed the Shrimp Scallops platter, coffee Figgy Duff. Very cheap prices for fresh local seafood. The staff is super friendly! Free Wifi to catch up with the world. Will be back.

Had the Fisherman Platter with Battered Cod and it was the best food we got in Newfoundland. Very recommended! Take your appetite.

What a beautiful restaurant in style. The food was delicious and the service was fast. We tried the garlic fingers (based on a bacon and cheese pizza). The seafood alfredo (delish), and the poutine burger (smoking and tasty). The portions were very large and we took most of our meals to go with us! The look back was also beautiful. When they get a terrace, it will be a breathtaking place. That was our favorite dinner.

My wife and I went by for dinner after the ferry. The service was great. The staff was so friendly and the food was great. My wife and I split 2 pieces of fish and chip and 2 fishcakes. We had no room for the desert so we could have some pudding. The food was great.
