Osteria Georgi - Chapel Hill

We reserved a table 2 weeks before the evening we went. We were placed by the door and next to a large party who had to move our table further into the cold door opening and closing throughout the meal.We asked to be moved but were told they did not have room. No effort was made to apologize for our discomfort. The table wasn’t level and a staff person grumbled when she had to lean over to fix it! It was very noisy, crowded and drafty! Grouchy staff. Food okay. We would not return or recommend!

Our server Noor did a great job and the food was delicious! This was our first time going and we will definitely go back. If you have the chance to go, try the bucatini alla gricia and request Noor as your server!!

Wait Staff was excellent and very attentive. Food was served quickly even though it was busy for Valentine's Day. The only problem I had was the price to food ratio. I ordered the lasagna which was $30 and only gave me a sliver that took about five bites to finish.

I went back to Osteria Georgi for the delicious arancini. However, the recipe this time was very different, not bad, just not what I was expecting. I was expecting the traditional rice arancini, but this was more like a bread and cheese arancini. And, alas, the music was too loud even after we asked the server to turn it down.

Always a five star review at OG! Everything was perfect as usual including the fabulous service which is why we keep coming back. Highly recommend this place for lunch, dinner and for any special occasion.
