Írjon visszajelzéstI had the best pulled pork I've tasted outside of Maine, and the baked beans and baked potato were a delightful addition. The corn bread waffle may have been small, but it was packed with flavor, and the draft IPA from Columbus was just perfect. My mom absolutely loved her 1-pound garlic butter mussels, while my dad enjoyed the ribs. The atmosphere was pleasantly rustic, and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. I've heard that their Friday Prime Rib and Fish Fry are definitely worth checking out. We'll be returning for sure!
The ribs were cold and had very little BBQ sauce. The fries were not crispy. The baked potato was lukewarm. The server was supposed to bring the cheesecake, but after asking three times and waiting 20 minutes, we ended up leaving.
At first glance, the place might seem a bit intimidating, with a crowd of blue-collar workers and bikers, but I’ve always felt welcomed and at ease whenever I’ve visited. The beer is consistently served ice cold on draft, which is something I truly appreciate. On my last visit, our waitress was exceptionally friendly and quick to bring my drink. I always order the Grandma Burger, despite the extensive menu, because it’s just that good. I do enjoy the fries as well, but in an effort to be a bit healthier, I usually opt for a salad instead. The Grandma Burger features a sauce reminiscent of what you'd find on a Big Mac, which is a big draw for me. The bathroom is surprisingly small, almost like a restroom in a camper, but considering the building’s impressive age, it’s understandable. They also have a fantastic patio area. Overall, I’ve never had a bad meal here. Even if you’re not dining, if you have an appreciation for Civil War-era architecture, it’s worth stopping by just to admire the beams and grab a Grandma Burger while you’re at it!
An under-the-radar bar/restaurant in Geauga County that is an absolute gem. Been here numerous times and have always been very pleased with the food and service. Fairly typical bbq fare but always good, very generous portions and reasonably priced. Kind of a rustic/log cabin decor that is more comfortable than fancy. Decent enough brew selection. Service has alway been good, not polished, but familiar and pleasant. Bathroom is a little tight. Great spot if you want something casual and a nice cold beer.
Always good food and friendly staff. Avoid Friday at 6:00, people are lined out the door. Get there by 5, or after 7:30
