Benny Ravello's - Charleston

I was a little skeptical about this place, but I'm glad I had an attempt. The dining area is very limited and is no longer available after a certain time in the evening. I checked the menu online before going and looked forward to ordering a slice of garlic mushroom, just to find out when I arrived that they did not serve it at this point. I got a piece of sausage pizza for my wife and a piece of cheese. The discs are very large, which explains the reasonable price (I have included my hotel room key in the image for the size reference). The cheese was a little dry. Apart from that, it was a delicious piece of pizza that had a light snack for every bite.

Decent cheap pizza. Slices are very big but also thin. The place feels like a hole in the wall and is popular with young people (college kids) mostly. If you go here, expect to get what you pay for. The tables were dirty, and there wasn’t much seating. But again, decent enough pizza, and I appreciate the simple menu.

The pizza slices are enormous! Had a great couple of slices before leaving. As other reviews have mentioned, it's not overly saucy, but that's actually ok in my book. Definitely good bang for your buck.

Pizza was delicious. However, we came with a group of 10, to make things less complicated and not to overcrowd the store, a couple of us waited in line and tried to order 2 pies (2 slices per person), we were told we couldn’t buy whole pies, only individual slices. So we asked to buy 20 slices but were then told 1 person can’t buy more than 2 slices. We explained there’s 10 of us and we’re happy to pay all at once so it’s easier/more efficient for them. We were then told we can’t do that and initially denied pizza but then ultimately had to do separate transactions to order 2 slices at a time. It didn’t make much sense and the server was rude about it. Still, the pizza was great for a late night meal.
