Charleston Crab House

Wowza! We came to Charleston for a day to do Casual Crabbing with Tia (highly recommend also) and she suggested we try this place. We brought some Blue Crabs we had just caught but also ordered ?The Crab House Crab Pot.? Both were incredible!! As anappetizer, we ordered She Crab Soup and the Crab Dip. I didn?t think about it, and that?s entirely my fault, but I couldn?t eatthe crab dip because I?m expecting. It was served cold and my doctor doesn?t want me eating any cold meats. The She Crab soup?.not my or my husbands cup of tea. Honestly, it tasted terrible. However, I think we just felt that way because we are from theMidwest and have never had anything close to it. I?m sure if you grow up on something with those particular flavors it?sdelicious. Our waitress asked what we thought of it and we kindly told her it wasn?t our favorite. She insisted to take it offthe bill but we told her not to. She did anyway, and I thought that was very kind. The blue crabs they cooked up for us we?reincredible and so was the Crab Pot. Normally, I eat very small portions but I found myself uncontrollably diving in to a mealthat was truly incredible.

Eating and the staff were both amazing! the crab was extremely tasteful and all other seafood and potatoes - the mais was also sooo good! I can't wait to visit charleston again so I can eat more here!

Great food. Beautiful views. Raw oysters were delicious. Stuffed mushrooms. Hushpuppies with honey butter.

Hidden Gem! Not on the beach but on the water! Party of 4, 2 adults, 2 children. I had the shrimp salad, friend had the crab sandwich, kids had chicken strips and Alfredo from the children's menu. My daughter said the Alfredo was better than mine
