Hale House - Charleston

Hale House is our favorite restaurant in Charleston. We frequent here a couple times a month. The atmosphere is perfect. Service is amazing. The food is always on point. The speak easy is great. If you don’t have a reservation the wait isn’t a big deal. Go downstairs and enjoy an amazing cocktail while you wait. Highly recommend. Service: Dine in

Awesome place in cute downtown Charleston. Was surprised when I walked in the front door and it was packed. Found a seat at the bar. Great French onion soup and bourbon selection. The speakeasy downstairs is kitschy cute. Def recommend checking out!

We were back in Charleston for work and thought we would hit up our favorite restaurant here. Unfortunately, tonight's experience wasn't as great as the last time. Steaks were overdone and had to be recooked and the prime rib sandwich didn't have much flavor. Regardless, we made the most of the night and enjoyed ourselves. We both love the vibe of this restaurant. People were celebrating birthdays and wedding events here so the atmosphere was fun and exciting. We are going to just tack tonight up as a fluke. We hope to be back.

We were in town for a football game. Yelp led us to Hale House. I liked the quaint design of the restaurant. Once inside our server was great. She was able to help us make some choices on the menu. The food was great. I got wings and rings. My wife got buffalo chicken wontons. Everything was above par. We will definitely visit next time we are in Charleston.

Nice bourbon selection good food They have a very extensive whiskey selection with decent prices I had the burger which was good bar food. The fried pork rinds were nice they fry them in house not homemade) I would recommend this restaurant for a good bar
