Michael's On The Alley - Charleston

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday brunch with a diverse menu that catered to all ages in our family, from adults down to 10-year-olds. The atmosphere was wonderful, and it was made even better by our fantastic waiter, Camille. Highly recommended!

Fantastic dining experience with outstanding service and a delightful atmosphere. We enjoyed the caprese salad and oysters Rockefeller as appetizers, followed by the baked scallops and an incredible prime rib. The service, especially from Jacob, was exceptional. He welcomed us warmly and helped make a birthday dinner truly memorable. While it is on the pricey side, it's absolutely worth it!

Jacob was an excellent server (as was Weston). I had one of the best steaks I've ever tasted. Highly recommended!

Great classic Chicago style steakhouse, leather stand, brick walls and classic crooners play in the background. Had the restaurant week 3 meal and it was fantastic. Had the Prime Ribeye upgrade and it was worth every cent, perfect Char on the outside, little to no season, the wet ripe prime beef is here the star. The bread is fresh with homemade butter, the She Crab soup was rich and full of crabs. And dessert, a dark chocolate sour cherry cake was a perfect finish. My only knock was that I ordered a medium-sized, rare steak and it came too rarely, but that was quickly corrected. It was so good that I can apologize. Service was friendly and fast and cocktails pleasant. A large steakhouse that can complete with the large 2 round the corner.

Absolutely lovely restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful. We went during restaurant week. I did not give this restaurant a 5 star review as the food was all very salty. The only item that was seasoned perfectly and not to salty was the filet (which was amazing). The accompaniments to the steak and our She Crab Soup appetizer were all very salty. The dessert was delicious and a perfect ending to our evening meal. I would recommend this establishment but be prepared for a high sodium intake. We will definitely give Michael's another try at a later date. Our waitress was courteous and attentive.
