Vincent Chicco's - Charleston

The food at this restaurant is amazing. I ordered the chicken cacciatore and my wife got the Tuscan braised short rib. We also enjoyed sharing the bruschetta and burrata salad. The service is outstanding and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.

Make sure not to overlook this genuine Italian treasure. Located on a charming alley, just steps away from King Street. I tried the bone marrow and salmon from the Monday special menu and was impressed by the high quality, exceptional preparation, and the friendly attitude of the staff.

I do not recommend this restaurant. My dining experience was not good at all. We waited 45 minutes for our wine and drinks to arrive. The food was very disappointing. I would not suggest ordering the Gnocchi or Cacio e Pepe. These should be simple dishes to make, but they managed to mess them up. As someone who has worked in the service industry for 5 years, I can say that this was some of the worst service I have ever experienced. Bad food, bad service, and long waits made for a very unenjoyable meal. This is my first ever negative review.

Wow! this was my first time that I visited this amazing city and I was looking for a nearby Italian restaurant, with old city charme. I found this and more! from the moment on I turned the sweetest gasse and then went through the front door. I was greeted and greeted by such an amazing staff. I was alone sat and sat at the bar and was governed by the history of this restaurant by its incredible barkeeper sean. he made me feel like I was fed with friends and the whole staff stopped chatting. now the food....SO delicious. I wish I had the time and the appetit to try everything, but I decided for the bruschetta and the pesto gnocchi and very enjoyed both. I can't wait to visit again. many thanks for the hospitality and the delicious food!

Very good! I grew up in a house where Italian food was deeply rooted in our daily life and it was nostalgic for me. I like traditional and went with the aubergine parmesan and my wife is a little bit more bougie and went with the pasta with lobster!
