Írjon visszajelzéstWe came here for a late lunch out of season and were a bit disheartened with the whole experience. The woman greeting you as you come in acted like we were disturbing her day. No where near the friendliness the old owner showed. The place was empty, soit wasn't like they were busy. We brought 5 people and order a bottle of wine, so you think they would have welcomed a decentbill. The atmosphere is the same from 8 years ago and dated, but the window view of the lake helps make up for it. The foodwas a pale comparison to previous years. The Minestrone had no depth of flavor. Bland, watered down and sad. The sandwiches wereOK. A little dry, underseasoned and plain. The whole place seems to no longer cook with the love it once had. There was no soulhere. You might as well go to subway down the street.
Chose scovies as they had one of the best ratings on the waterfront strip. Of the 3 choices we made, hamburger was so so, southwestern wrap was too busy and veggie panini was excellent. Homemade chips too tough to eat (for me my sis likes them).Atmosphere was nice and eclectic.
Had The Judge and Tuna Sandwiches. Huge sandwiches, very tasty and great prices for the portions. Lisa was so informative, nice and funny. I also bought 2 pies to be picked up at a later date. Peach pie was absolutely delicious. Coconut cream pie wasn't asgood. Crust tasted stale. I just won't order coconut cream pie anymore. I'll be back.
The bread and butter that came with our order were good. The entrees themselves had room for improvement at their prices side vegetables are a bit hard and flavorless to me. The steak and salmon could also have been cooked/seasoned better. Decent servicethough!
Good vegetarian options, but vegan options are only those without cheese and with Italian dressing (which I was accepted vegan but not in demand). There is not much in the area, so it is a good option if you are here, but it is not worth going out the way. Updated by previous review on 2022-06-11
