I’ve been visiting this place for at least 20 years, and though there have been several changes in management, it remains a favorite of mine. Many reviews focus on the prepared and semi-prepared foods, but it’s also a fantastic spot for hard-to-find ingredients like guanciale, high-quality imported pastas, and San Marzano tomatoes. The locally sourced ricotta from Mooresville is excellent! One dish you absolutely have to try is their house-made focaccia paired with their gorgonzola-artichoke dip. You can easily make a meal out of that simple combination—just bread and dip, but it’s amazing. I do miss the onion-topped focaccia, though; they stopped making it 10 years ago.

Everything was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. You definitely need to give this place a try—I love everything about it. It's such a unique and charming spot!

During my recent visit to town, I tried the eggplant parmesan. While it was tasty and the sauce was delicious, I was a bit disappointed because it didn't really resemble traditional eggplant parm. It was just sliced eggplant in marinara sauce. It might be worth considering a name change to avoid confusing customers.

Love this market. Goods are a little pricy but worth every penny. We are always keeping the house stocked with their tortellini, lasagna, meatballs and par-baked baguettes. This is my go to location for good EVO. Then, the fresh pasta with all the options. Love to use their sheets for my homemade lasagna. Will also grab a bottle or two of their recommended wines to enjoy with dinner. Have rarely gone wrong here.
