Sheng Ramen - Charlotte

I didn?t have high expectations for this place but it turned out amazingly good!! You have to order their chili paste if you love spicy food! It costs an extra dollar but it brought the ramen to a whole new level! I love their takoyaki (octopus ball)too, it was hot and tasty. I will definitely come back here again.

Excellent... Must go. Being from NYC, I've had the opportunity to eat ramen in some very good restaurants. This place is right up there. Small restaurant, big menu, very nice staff, good pricing. Looking forward to my next visit.

WHERE to start! Our server irene was amazing, prompt, kind, helpful!, understanding. Food was absolutely fantastic down to the fish cakes! There was nothing lacking within this ramen, we had the paitan chicken ramen. 10/10 would recommend, we will most defintely be back for more and would recommend anyone else come here as well.

Good ramen. Noodles and eggs were cooked perfectly but the broth was a bit on the bland side. We got the tonkatsu ramen and miso ramen (chili paste on the side).Chicken Katsu was very crispy and well seasoned. The meat was a bit stringy though. I think it was fried too long.Service wise: it took awhile for the server to greet our table after being seated. We were there on a Friday lunch when it wasn’t busy.Throughout most of our meal, the hostess paced back and forth by our table while reading a book. It didn’t seem to be safe as she could’ve run into a server carrying food out of the kitchen. Seems very odd that the manager would allow this behavior while guests are dining.

Ample food. Love this place. this place and a sushi place we visit at least one a week.
