Cafe Fusion - CHARMHAVEN

I was excited to have breakfast with friends at this restaurant after reading good reviews, but we were disappointed when our coffee and meals arrived barely warm. It was a shame because the staff seemed friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant.

We recently visited Cafe Fusion for breakfast and were very impressed. The coffee, milkshake, and food were all amazing. It had been a while since we had such a good breakfast by the coast. We will definitely be returning again.

The service was friendly and fast. The burger was the best I've eaten in a long time, extremely juicy and just the right size serve.

Food was well presented. Service was super friendly. Our charming wait staff explained that this business is now under new management and was enthusiastic about future direction of the restaurant. This was our first visit however we will try again shortly.My Husband enjoyed his hamburger lunch but I found the meat tasted too strongly of herbs.In saying that,the food wasn't bad and the desserts were delicious.Must admit that the milk shake which I had ordered a thick shake, was the worst I have ever been served, made with warm milk and an abysmal flavour and no ice cream included in the blending.Will try again and make a further judgement as this business may be experiencing teething troubles.Two course lunch with drinks was $53 so will hope for improvement next visit.

We had an 8 hour round trip on the weekend to pick up our new puppy, and we stopped at Cafe Fusion for food. It was quite quiet for a Saturday lunch time, but before we even walked in we were happily greeted by the cheerful staff. We had a lovely conversation with them before ordering our meals. I ordered the Pumpkin and Fetta salad and my partner got a schnitzel and chips. It was like being in a country town - they were so friendly, genuinely wanted to know how my partner was (he s recovering from 2 broken legs so was not walking properly). The food was well priced and came out rather quickly. My salad was to die for!! So delicious - I nearly want to call up and ask them how they caramalized the pumpkin. It was so fresh. I paid extra $3.00 for chicken and it was a generous serving! My partner loved his schnitzel - It was made from scratch and presented well. He also got a milkshake - they added sweet cream on top and was just a delicious bonus!It was a pleasant surprise - we stopped just to stop our rumbling stomachs and they ended up making our day (other than picking up our new puppy!) If we are ever up Charmhaven way again, we will definitely be back. such kind people restores your faith in humanity a little bit!
