Village - Charnwood

This restaurant is conveniently located near my work, but the limited menu options make it difficult to choose. The new carpet installed in 2011 is more of an eyesore than an improvement. The extensive menu now offers everything from calzones to vegetarian pies, and the food is cooked in the dining room, leading to long lines of people waiting in between tables. The overwhelming number of choices has led to a decrease in food quality. The restaurant should streamline the menu, focus on taste, improve the sauces, and simplify the overall dining experience. Additionally, only 20% of the staff seems friendly and welcoming, so the others should follow suit. Despite these issues, I will still return tomorrow. Balance between options and quality is key.

Located in the heart of Loughborough University, Village Bar is easily accessible by foot or car through the main entrance. The food at this bar is fantastic - I enjoyed a delicious fresh salmon with salad. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, making it difficult to decide. The hot food options also looked very appealing. The atmosphere at the bar is clean and casual, making it a great spot to hang out with friends. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I grabbed a leaflet with the term time hours and I plan to return on the weekend for a full English breakfast.
