Copper Island Inn - Chase

Awesome rustic pub!! Good food & nice atmosphere!! Meat draws on Saturdays!! We have always enjoyed our time here & the rusticness makes it even better!!

What a handy place to go to. Mind you, it's the only pub in the area. Friendly staff, reasonable menu, good food. Once in awhile, the food order gets messed up.

I'm still waiting for a dark beer to be on tap. They served me a dark beer last time, but they didn't say it was out of a bottle. I informed them that if I wanted a bottle I would go home which I did. I'm glad I was alone as I apparently was sitting at a table some regulars informed me was theirs. To which I replied there was no reserved sign and I got there first. They started to shout which I responded in kind. The waitress said I should change tables so I did and went hone to my table and dark bottled beer. If you like deep fried food this place is top of the list. Not very good customer service or food, but looks like a good place for a bar fight.

We stay here periodically when we are in the area for work. Last week being the most recent stay. Pros:-Pub is just downstairs. Not far from decent pub food.-The ladies who keep the place running are friendly and very easy going. I can appreciate the small-town vibes I get. We had to check out a couple days early on one trip and we were concerned about refund or extra charges but was totally cool with it. She told us to just let her know with a bit of notice. -The rooms have been updated and decorated nicely. I found them to be very quaint. The room had a queen and a small twin sized bed next to it. -It's nice and clean!-Because it's in Scotch Creek, and there are only a few rooms, it's dead quiet.Cons:- Scotch Creek has a limited dining choice. Which means we have to eat breakfast at the only place that's open - the park store. And it's okay.-I usually wake up stiff and with back pain. The bed isn't the most comfortable.-The building itself is clearly older, so occasionally I catch a whiff of mildew or moisture somewhere. They seem to take care that the room smells nice when you enter, so I can overlook it because of the fact that the building is old.-The TV channel selection is limited. Very basic cable. Good enough if you like to watch the news.-There are no overhead lights in the room. (With the exception of the bathroom) There are two small bedside lamps. It's dim...For me, this place settles more into the 3.5/5 category mainly because of the bed comfort. I'd recommend because it's the only choice.

We went to celebrate our daughter and her husbands' anniversary. Went there before they were open but I did get to meet with a very nice staff member and she was kind enough to let us have a menu that we took to our daughters campsite so they could check the menu as one of there children can only eat certain foods. They were happy with the menu so we decided to go. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent,
