This is a fantastic spot to visit for a lovely cup of tea on a chilly day. The atmosphere is laid-back and tranquil, with welcoming staff and a great selection of cakes.

It was my third visit to this cafe and each time I ordered a different food. Never been disappointed with the taste and service. Was reading some of the negative comments below and I was puzzled. I never been treated rudely and I found the staff there has been really friendly and I get the warm welcome and smile each time I visit this cafe. Food and coffee were good too. Honest!. The other reviews that mention the rude staff are accurate. I went to this restaurant with a friend who is lactose intolerant and only drinks soy coffee. The barista got our order wrong and gave us regular milk coffee. When we told him it was supposed to be soy, he argued that we never said that and refused to make a new one. We had to get the manager involved to try to resolve the issue, but even he argued with us and insisted we drink the regular milk coffee. I have never had such a terrible experience before. I do not recommend this place at all.

I took the flat white back and asked if it was weak as it looks equally pale as the weak flat white that my friends ordered. The women at the counter who isn’t in uniform said no it’s like that. Flat white is usually lighter than other coffee. ?!?!?! I wonder if she needs coffee training?? I said that’s horrible. Just add one more shot. She said sure but you have to pay extra. I went sure and paid the 70c. As I paid she went on and said you shouldn’t say horrible. If you don’t like the coffee you can go. I couldn’t believe it and asked “you asked me to leave?” “Yes because you said it’s horrible...” and went on at me. I was totally fine to pay the extra, I didn’t threaten other customers, I wasn’t loud. Did I deserve to be asked to leave in front of everyone?
