Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery

As for the tour, Emma and Olivia were fantastic guides! As for whisky itself, for my taste, it is some of the best in the country. I don't like bourbon or rye very much, but I'm a single malt drink, and it's still rare in the USA. I wish Chattanooga would do this regularly, but her high malt style makes it more pleasant than most whiskeys made in this country.

Don't worry this is not a tourist trap, you'll learn a thing or two about American Whisky and enjoy a tasting. Three people were a no show due to an emergency, so it was just me a tour of one and I have to say, I really enjoyed myself. The employees were super friendly, easy to talk to, made me feel welcome, and taught me a thing or two about whiskey. I tried chatt whiskey silver, chatt whiskey 91, chatt whiskey cas 111, and three distillers select. My favorite was the chatt whiskey silver, they were sold out, so I ended up getting a bottle of my second favorite, the chatt whiskey 91. I'm looking forward to trying their version of an old fashioned and appreciate them sharing the recipe. Thank you Ethan, Gracie, and Will for the laughs and great service!!

So years ago this was our first whiskey distillery tour. I wasn't a big bourbon guy then. We loved the tour then. I loved the bourbon now! Kyle was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history and the bourbons making. At the bar for the tasting we had Billy, Tony and Trinity. They took care of us teaching us about all of the spirits. Great little tour and great Whiskey. I always keep Chattanooga Whiskey at home. We bought some bottled in bond to take home. Great place with great people. You need to reserve ahead of time. You can do that on their website.

I’ve been enjoying Chattanooga Whiskey for a few years now, so was excited when I found myself in town for business this week so I could check out the distillery. Will hosted a great tour, Emma took care of us at the bar, and Kyle helped us out in the gift shop; they all made for a great experience.! You cannot beat the tour and samples for $15, I highly recommend! When I find myself back in town, I will definitely be back!

Having done alot of distillery tours/ rooms in my time this was my least favorite. Staff seemed very uninterested in their product and quickly described the items on the flight and escaped. Very over priced and no atmosphere. Disappointing.I used to buy this whiskey at Total Wine and More in Brentwood as the bottle is cool but will no longer purchase this brand as a result of this visit.
