ID is known for serving quality South Indian food and they continue to do so around at all the branches. At first glance the prices look slightly over priced but the moment the food is served we realize the prices are justified. They maintain their high quality food along with great taste. Tried out their South Indian meals and it was on of the best meals I've eaten in the city.

Nice place for a good breakfast on a lazy Sunday morning. Karuveppalai idli with crisp karuveppalai leaves was good. So was the ghee roast. Podi thattu Idly was a tad spicey and could have been better with little more ghee(per my teenager kid). Medhu vada was hot and crisp. Sambar and accompaniments very good<br/ <br/ Coffee was good, could have been a tad stronger. One MUST DO is to use a smaller cup for the mini(100 ml) coffee instead of giving half a cup in the larger(200 ml) mug. From a comfort and presentation perspective it would have been nice<br/ <br/ Overall a good experience!

On a Saturday morning was craving for some idli's and saw ID was opened as I was passing through, I stopped here for my breakfast. Ordered Karuveppilai idli, Pesarattu and Pongal. As usual the food was good and the service was also good as we were the first customer.

This is another gem of a place. Not much of variety but the ones they serve are super delicious. My personal favourite are the sambar Idly and the ghee dosa, both these dishes are super delicious. The dosa is really crisp and tasty. I have also tried the onion uthapam here but I didn't much like it. It was a little rubbery. So this is definitely worth trying if you are craving for South Indian food.
