I honestly do not like to leave poor reviews, so please understand this is just my opinion. My wife, daughter, and I were excited to go here so I didn't mind spending $60 bucks (tickets and parking), seemed like a decent price. The lights and scenery that were set up were all very nice as you walk up to the place, but there really isn't much there. It was well decorated and had a nice Christmas feel but again, not much to get excited about. They had some shops and food which were all very nice, but it is what it is. They had an area set up to be Santa's house and an elves place, but you just look in windows. There was a cool lighted tunnel and plenty of lights everywhere, I guess. Again, it was nice for what it was, but paying for parking and buying tickets in advance? I would expect much more. Needless to say, after 20 minutes of walking around and trying figure out why they charge admission to just buy food or hot chocolate and look through some windows...we were very disappointed and frustrated. Honestly, they probably just make people pay for tickets in advance to keep crowds under control. Ugh, I was really hoping for more. Definitely not worth paying for admission or parking.
Yes beautiful but not for residents who need to get home, facility needs to hire people for traffic control people from out of town have no direction in where to park. Hire more people, we who live here can’t get home and are frustrated with the backed up traffic.
The lights at night are pretty! That said, it was disappointing. My daughter recently went, paid $10, parked and went in. Now it is online with limited parking capacity, which is sold out for weekends for rest of season. Website says no on-site admission sales--not true. $6.25 a person. Also, they don't limit sales so there are a ton of people. All kinds of signage out front that contradicts each other and what the employees say! All food lines were incredibly long. Food was pricy. Went to grill. Older woman said 4 pieces of meat came with $20 meal--not true, two small thin-sliced pieces, a small cup of potato salad, 3 asparagus spears, and a roll. Definitely not worth $20. Everything was pricy. Went to get sourdough bread. It's actually a gift shop where they happen to have some bagged loaves of bread. They don't give a sample, doesn't look like they had butter to eat with bread. It's not made right there, piping hot. AND IT WAS $12. There was a girl leaning back, on her phone; she was a rude snot. Never asked if we needed help. It was very unsafe walking out of this place--very dark with uneven ground. They need a couple lights along the road. We had a good mile trek back to our car.
I had a great date night here. The fields were filled with lights. The shops had attendants with stories and full on information. The food fair had a good amount of variety. The lavender honey ice cream and the funnel cake were awesome. They had romantic dining tables under the trees and in various areas. We took a 100 photos easy and we will be back.
