Tommy's Diner - Cherryvale

The hostess provided excellent service. The prices were average, with a meal of a burger, fries, and soda costing around $10 per person. The burgers were mediocre as they were made with frozen patties, but the fries were delicious. The sodas were served in bottles and the first refill was complimentary. Despite the burger's taste, I would still return to this cozy little restaurant that I adored. I am giving it three stars mainly due to the burger's flavor.

There were 4 groups dining at the restaurant and it took 45 minutes from ordering to receive our two hamburgers. The hamburgers looked appetizing, but the meat was not high quality.

My father suggested trying burgers at MJs instead of Sonic, and even though I love Sonic and we don't have them on the East Coast, I was hesitant to try somewhere new. But I am so glad we went to MJs. The burgers were incredible - thick, juicy, and absolutely delicious. We ordered the Cowboy Burger, which was topped with brisket, caramelized onions, and a perfectly melted slice of American cheese. It was amazing. The homemade French fries were cooked to perfection as well. This was truly one of the best burger and fries meals I've had in a while. If you happen to be passing by on 169 during a road trip, I highly recommend taking a detour into downtown Cherryvale to dine at MJs.
