Tap It Local - Chesapeake

I've been here several times and really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere and service are great. The food however, has always been bland and less than expected. Example: Tonight I ordered the Burger of the Week which was supposed to have blue crab Mac n cheese. The crab was barely there, as was the Mac n cheese. (See picture). No flavor in this and most food in the past. Cheese on my burger and another in my party both cold.

Absolutely amazing staff! The food is phenomenal. The customer service is excellent. This is the spot for a good time with great people!

I keep coming here expecting it to change but it's always the same. The service is great and the drinks look good but the food is pretty horrible. The wings barely had any sauce on them and were cooked in a way that made the skin tough. The lettuce in the salad is rotten and mushy every time I order it. The ranch dressing was the best part. And they have crushed ice in the drinks which I love.

Good atmosphere, and nice variety on the menu. Nothing that stood out untill I tried the fried plantains. Great side that isn't common, and they nailed it. Will definitely be returning and trying some pours from their vast selection of beers.
