Absolutely lovely pub with a little shop on the car park. Lovely owners and friendly atmosphere.

Good old fashioned pub, food good but my friends fish and chips were served in a bowl! Why? My ham and cheese toastie was fine, once I'd removed one layer of ridiculously thick bread. Atmosphere slightly spoiled by a few young men whose language left a little to be desired.

This pub is extremely friendly, with lovely owners who are very helpful and accommodating. They offer a great selection of craft beers and lagers at reasonable prices. We visited on a Saturday night and found it to be very comfortable, with a cozy log fire to keep us warm. The five of us enjoyed affordable meals with fantastic service, delicious food, and generous portion sizes. I would highly recommend this place after a leisurely walk or a visit to Oulton Park. It's a charming little pub in a quaint village, and they even have a village shop with essential items and local products.

Highly recommended. Lovely interior, friendly welcome. Delicious home cooked food with a lovely range of options, I was spoilt for choice. Will come again !

Dropped in for Sunday lunch. Both of us had the roast beef. It was excellent and plentiful. Great selection of real ales, 6 pumps. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended. Will certainly return.
