G&g Pizza - Chester

The food was amazing I'm gon be honest I would eat here 7days a week. 10/10

I got a small cheesteak. Extra cheese, hot peppers, sweet peppers, ketchup, mayo, salt and pepper. Total: $18.26 I was surprised that it was so high but I charged that to the game. I was still optimistic. My cheesteak was subpar at best. No extra cheese...no peppers..I don 't even think he added mayo. I could be wrong because it lacked flavor. THIS was not a $20 cheese steak. $10 maybe? And I 'm so glad I didn 't grab the 2 cheesesteaks I originally was going to get because I went back in the store to cancel one after I found out that would be $26 dollars and something. I figured I didn 't want to spend that kind of money on a cheesesteak I never had. So I gave it a shot. Well, I won 't be back. Another overpriced shop with no prices on the walls...Decent service though. I can 't speak for the rest of the food.Update: the reply speaks for itself. All my reviews are TRUE. and the woman who came up with ridiculous amount was a short fair skinned lady who had black hair pulled in a ponytail. RING A BELL? ASK her why she said 2 cheese steaks were 26.00! That 's why I came back a few minutes later and told her just make it just one because something seemed off about that price. So I came back and grabbed my cheesesteak and it came up to 18.26. Still shocked but I charged it to the game! Now I definitely won 't be back when you don 't even have employees with integrity!!!

Hey @G&G management. I want to thank you for the take out cheesesteak I just devoured with my coworkers (shown below). I have to say the ambiance and environment of the restaurant was kinda dirty but I expected that. The steak itself was scrumptious. The cheese wiz and the hot peppers danced On my tastebud like flavor fairies. I was truly blown away. The bread was a tad soggy on the edges, but the steak and toppings made up for it. I give your steak a 78.5/100 and I think anyone in the area would be delighted with one of these sandwhiches. I’m glad to see that the new management has taken their job seriously and has stepped up to make a welcoming environment with delicious food. I would consider this to be a thurl dining spot and will be dining back

Upon visiting I was skeptical at first to order due to prior experience with the inability to place an order. I saw the reply’s from the company apologizing and explaining they are under a new policy and new management. I end up giving them a call on my cellphone and order 3 cheesesteaks. The place was a little difficult to find in the strip mall which was off due to still construction. Luckily they had a sign on the fence that said “G&G’s Pizza” which was very helpful in my navigation towards my food. When I walked in there was a small antique arcade game immediately in front of you as you walk in the door. I thought this was off but realized it suited the environment and ambiance that surrounded the company. They estimated 15 minutes and took 17 minutes to hand me my food which I had no issues with. After opening the bag, the cheese steaks were all perfectly wrapped when I opened up my cheesesteak. The bread was a little cold but soft. The meat was very well prepared and the cheese was well incorporated within the sandwich. Took about 10 minutes to consume which is fairly quick. I would return in the future. Fairly reasonable price of $11.14 which is not bad in the economic condition and inflation we are dealing with currently. Thank you G&G’s for my lunch.

I usually don 't write bad reviews as I understand the climate of food service is difficult right now. Everything is so expensive and sadly that cost is then pushed onto the consumer. I ordered a large pizza with half topping. There was barely enough topping on the half to justify the upcharge. The crust looks pre made, like it 's not being made in house which is weird... I may be wrong. It did taste good though. We asked for it to be well done and it wasn 't. The wings were probably the skimpiest, smallest things I ever saw. 20 of them was over $20 they should have cost 25 each they were so small. However, I enjoyed the sauce. The mozzarella sticks were fine. Not as gooey as I like them but that 's a personal preference. Over all this meal cost us over $50. The quality felt cheap and like corners were being cut. I try to support small businesses but sadly this one needs some help!
