Hooters - Chester

I haven't visited this Hooters in a few years, and I found that everything was pretty much the same—decent food, friendly waitstaff, and cold beer. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the pricing. $9.00 for a large Sam Adams? Seriously? I bought a 12-pack for $16.99 just last Friday. My meal of fish and chips, two beers, and the tip totaled around $40. It was good, but not quite worth that much.

I ordered the 20-piece wings with Daytona sauce. The chicken was excellent, but I noticed that the breading on the wings wasn’t as noticeable as it used to be. There wasn’t much crunch to them. Overall, they were still good wings.

I ordered the watermelon margarita, and while it didn’t really taste like watermelon, I still enjoyed it. For my appetizers, I had the buffalo shrimp, which were much smaller than what the menu showed. The buffalo chicken salad was delicious. To top off my meal, I indulged in the delectable caramel fudge cheesecake.

I was there at the opening. I had the lemon pepper roasted wings. Really good. Some curly fries too. The waitress was new, but very friendly and attentive. In short, I enjoyed my lunch.
