Espino's Mexican And Grill

It was excellent! The salsa was one of the best ever! The food was delicious cooked perfectly! The house margaritas were awesome! Will recommend this Restaurant to all my friends!

Wonderful food and staff. I eat at Espinos regularly and my husband and I love their food and service. We have never had poor service but have noticed the owner who sits at the end of the bar drinking and never seems to look at the restaurant. Although we would suggest this restaurant to EVERYONE, the owners could seem more interested in their clients than Mr. and Mrs. Espimo seem to.

After hearing about it multiple times on the Dave Glover radio show, we decided to give this restaurant a try. Despite a longer-than-usual wait to be seated, we stuck it out after traveling a distance to get there. However, once seated in a booth, we found the table to be sticky. It took 10 minutes to be greeted and have our drink order taken. The fajitas I ordered were tough and the accompanying vegetables were soggy. My husband ordered a variety of items, but none of them impressed him as being above average. Overall, we were not convinced by the hype surrounding this restaurant and do not plan on returning.

I decided to try this restaurant after seeing multiple advertisements from David Glover. However, I was extremely disappointed. As someone from Texas who is familiar with Mexican cuisine and appreciates its nuanced varieties, I was unimpressed. My daughter-in-law, who is from Mexico City, has exposed me to authentic Mexican food, and this restaurant did not meet those standards. It also fell short of being decent Tex-Mex. It may be suitable for someone with expectations of Missouri-Mexican cuisine, but it did not meet my standards.

Absolutely wonderful food and great people and service. Highly recommend trying it if you haven't before. We have a new favorite restaurant.
