Southern Taste Diner - Chesterfield

Amazing!!! This is some of the best Southern food I've ever had in a restaurant. The aromas of everything were incredible. The fried steak was so tender it melted in your mouth, the cornbread was delightfully fluffy, and the seasoned potatoes complemented the meal perfectly. The shrimp and grits were incredibly flavorful, and the fried eggs were cooked just right! I was pleasantly surprised by the generous glass of sweet tea, which was also delicious. Next time, I want to try more dishes because everything sounds so tempting, though it will be hard to top what I’ve already enjoyed. There is a great variety of options, both savory and sweet, including some healthy choices too.

This restaurant is in a great location, and both the food and service are excellent. My husband particularly loves the liver and onions, which he claims are outstanding. The Lima beans are prepared just the way I like them, and the mashed potatoes are authentic. The roasted chicken, steak, and gravy are also quite good. However, I wasn't a fan of the burgers and fries. Our experiences have always been within the main dining area. If you’re looking for a great meal, this place is worth a visit.

This is a fantastic little restaurant that exudes southern charm. The breakfast and lunch menus are both extensive, offering a wide variety of options. Every dish was perfectly cooked and served hot. I was pleased with how my meal turned out. My only minor complaint was that I received just one piece of toast with my two eggs, but it wasn’t a significant issue. The domestic fries were cooked to perfection. I've even considered giving this place a one-star rating, just to keep it under the radar, as I worry they might struggle to keep up with the demand if too many people discover how great it is. The service was outstanding, and they also have a full bar. We will definitely be coming back!

The ladies here are wonderful!! Absolutely loved eating here. Food is amazing. Freshly cooked. I can't wait to go back. The only thing that shocked me was the tip in the check. It was good when you asked me. It was great.

This place has great food and very reasonable prices. The only reason its not a five stars. Is the service could improve some. I realize the staffing issues, as well as other issues restaurants currently face. That being said they need a better wait system. I shouldn't have to stand awkwardly for 10 mins without anyone acknowledging my presence
